Two months of beta. We've been watching the data, reading the feedback, and playing alongside you. Here's where we're at, honestly.
What's working
Kingdom claiming is landing the way we hoped. Players are actually fighting over territory because the territory is worth fighting over. Alliances are forming without us scripting any of it, which is exactly what we wanted. Average sessions are sitting around 2.5 hours, which tells us the loop is holding people.
What's not
New players are getting lost in the first 30 minutes. That's on us. The onboarding is too thin. Cobblestone is also way too easy to stockpile and iron is too scarce, so the economy is skewed. And raid windows need to be communicated better in-game because people keep getting hit when they didn't know they could be.
What we're doing about it
We're building a guided tutorial, rebalancing the resource table, and adding a calendar inside the game that shows when raids can happen. Should be live within two weeks.
To every beta tester who's sent us feedback: you're literally shaping this game. Keep it coming.
