Purpose
This policy describes how we collect and use personal data. Our goal is to stay transparent, protect individual privacy, and keep data use internal. We never resell it to third parties.

This policy applies to all personal data collected by the organization through any channel, whether online or offline. It governs storage, access, use, and retention practices across all systems and services.

Data Collection
- The organization collects minimal personal data required for stated purposes, such as IP addresses
- Data collection uses secure and transparent methods
- Explicit individual consent is obtained at the time of collection

Purpose of Data Use
- Collected data serves exclusively internal functions: maintaining records, enhancing services, or completing administrative tasks
- Data shall never support marketing, advertising, or purposes not explicitly disclosed to individuals during collection
No Marketing Use: Your data will never be used for marketing, advertising, or any purpose beyond what was disclosed to you at the time of collection.

Data Sharing & Resale
- Personal data will not be sold, shared, rented, or disclosed to third parties under any circumstances
- Data access is restricted to authorized personnel requiring it for job duties
Zero Third-Party Sharing: We will never sell, share, rent, or disclose your personal data to any third party. Period.

Data Security
- Robust security measures are implemented including encryption, secure servers, and regular audits
- Protections guard against unauthorized access, modification, disclosure, or destruction of data
- Breaches trigger prompt remediation with affected parties notified per legal requirements

Data Retention
- Data is retained only as long as necessary for its intended purpose or as legally required
- Player statistics and gameplay data are wiped every 3 months, aligned with each new King of the Wasteland season
- Unnecessary personal data is securely deleted or anonymized

- Access their personal data held by the organization
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data
- Request deletion of their personal data
Requests can be submitted to the data protection officer via Discord through a "Staff Complaint" ticket.

- Updates are communicated transparently with the latest version available on this website or upon request
