Patch Notes — July 15, 2026 (live now)
All realms just restarted — the war overhaul is live, along with everything announced the past two days (war declarations working, treasury economy, inactivity rule).
War flags are now real objectives
Both war banners are protected while a war is open. The attacker's banner can only be torn down by the defending team during the battle (that's the defensive win). The defender's claim flag is locked while a war is pending and can only be destroyed by the attacking team during the battle (that's the conquest). No more deleting a banner in your own yard to dodge a war — and the blocks under flags are protected too, so no sneaky pop-offs.
Wars are fought on your borders
Declaring war now requires owning land adjacent to the target territory, and costs 500 coins from your team treasury. Attackers can withdraw a declaration before the battle by breaking their own banner.
Plant your flag or lose by default
You can now (re)establish a claim flag by placing a banner in your own territory that lacks one — conquered land included. Careful: a territory with no claim flag when the battle timer runs out goes to the attacker by default.
Battles announce themselves
War activations are broadcast server-wide with the objectives. Declarations now tell defenders exactly how to schedule the battle hour (/war schedule <id> <hour>) and warn if your territory has no flag. Losing your Keep now properly clears it — no more logging in inside enemy walls.
